  If You Need Quick and Eye Catching Illustrations.....​​​​

Call The Illustrator who is used to creative thinking, flexibility and the pressure of deadlines, due to a long association with daily newspapers as an editorial cartoonist. I have also worked with publishers such as Owlkids and Kids Can Press and for such clients as Nissan Canada, General Mills, McCarthy Tetrault, Walmart and Met Life to mention a few. This work involves developing conceptual ideas, book illustration, storyboards, renderings, visuals for Powerpoint and other presentations, customized caricatures and more.

I have illustrated a number of children’s books including “Friend or Foe” The whole Truth about Animals that People Love to Hate. Written by Etta Kaner and published by Owlkids Books 2015.

I am the author of two children’s books, Whispers from the Bushveld and More Tales from the Bushveld, both of which I also illustrated. These are available through Shuter & Shooter, an educational publisher based in South Africa and are prescribed reading in the school system there. Three of my short stories and a one-act play have been accepted into the South African school curriculum.

I am a member of the Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers [CANSCAIP,] The Canadian Children’s Book Centre and The Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists. [CAECA.]

Illustration workshops.
Talks on editorial cartooning and illustration for kids and adults.

 

Political Cartoonist for several South African newspapers including the anti-apartheid mouthpiece The Rand Daily Mail and that country's largest daily, The Johannesburg Star before moving to Canada. Produced editorial work for many major Canadian newspapers and for such clients as Rogers Media, Bell Global Media, Can West and Maclean Hunter
